altitude slickness conquistador of the useless

The Armchair Mountaineer

It was inevitable - the day when I actually realized and accepted the fact that I don’t really climb so much any more, as much as I simply read and think about climbing. The domain was available, so I snagged it - TheArmchairMountaineer.com. Setting this up will allow me to keep Altitude Slickness as more of my personal photography and trip report depot, and use TAM as more of a general outdoor and design blog of sorts. The design is just a template at this point, but should be thickening up over the next month or so, but so far so good. Lots of content and stuff to talk about, which is kind of bumming me out, when I think about how I’d rather be outside, but all in all it’s just good to be busy. I do have a winter trip planned next week which should be nothing less than entertaining (taking the Scouts snow caving), but doing all this writing and thinking about climbing has me really aching for a decent epic…
